STAGE 1 | From the manufacturer's plant to the port of departure in China, 5 units of oversized and heavy cargo were delivered by barges. For this, 3 BBS were mobilized.
STAGE 2 | For sea shipment, a vessel with ship cranes with a lifting capacity of 2x250 tons, about 400 tons in a pair, was selected. Loading from the barges onto the vessel was carried out by ship cranes.
STAGE 3 | The destination port in the Russian Federation was chosen to be St. Petersburg – Bronka terminal. Part of the cargo was unloaded at the port for further shipment to the construction site. To deliver 5 heavy cargo units, it was necessary to mobilize two barges. Loading was carried out by the vessel’s cranes sequentially.
STAGE 4 | A jetty on the Luga River was used to roll out the heavy cargo units from the barges. Unloading of the heavy cargo units from the barges onto the berth was carried out by the RO-RO method using hydraulic self-propelled modules. The equipment was then delivered to the construction site by sequential SPMT flights.
STAGE 5 | A mobile crane with a lifting capacity of 250 tons was used to unload part of the equipment at the site. The heavy cargo units themselves were unloaded at the site using the hydraulic SPMT system onto metal pedestals.
